So I thought why not share with you how I use my tea tree oil in unique ways. Yes, you don’t have to restrict it only for your face instead you can use it in various other ways. Before I go any further I would like to say that the smell of tea tree oil isn’t pleasing, it has the smell of eucalyptus oil and for many of you, the smell can be slightly unbearable. However, I had bought TBS tea tree oil for my zits, but the creative side of my brain started using it for various purposes and the results were stunning. So if you want to know more about how I use tea tree oil in various ways, then read further 🙂

1. As Night facial oil:

For almost a month I have been using tea tree oil as a facial oil, and I have actually loved the way my face is supple and kind of glowing. I guess the glow is my DIY face packs 🙂 However the consistency of TBS tea tree oil is light which is the best thing, and also it quickly absorbs into my skin and I have noticed by morning my skin would be super soft.

2. As hair massage oil:

I have chemically treated hair, and I generally don’t use much of fancy products in my hair care. But weekly once I massage my scalp with tea tree oil or I just add a few drops of tea tree oil into my shampoo and it does a great job of scalp cleanser. Tea tree oil has antifungal properties that will expel out the fungi on the scalp and prevent dandruff or a greasy scalp. Tip: Just a few drops of the essential oil is sufficient to do its magic.

3. As zit zapper:

This was my actual reason for buying TBS tea tree oil – to zap my zits. And I didn’t hear great reviews, but I did want to try and see if it worked on my skin. Fortunately, it did work, whenever I had breakouts, I would apply tea tree oil on it and maybe within a few hours or max by the next day the acne would be gone. It does a great job of reducing the acne and inflammation. Even though TBS tea tree oil has a light texture, only two drops are enough to control the acne. I did experience a tingly sensation, but it was worth it.

4. As a face toner:

I make my own toner as it is safe for my skin and highly natural. So be it my lemon toner or rice water toner, I just add a few drops of tea tree oil to it and it has been working well. I notice a good change in my complexion. The acne is less, my skin is soft and even my T-zone area is less oily.

5. As wisdom tooth pain reliever:

This came as a surprise to me when tea tree oil worked as zit zapper, I decided to give it a try to reduce the wisdom tooth pain. I took 2-3 drops of tea tree oil and rubbed it on my wisdom tooth and the flesh around. It gave a burning sensation, and increased the saliva level, but the next day I was all fine. It was the anti-inflammatory properties of the tea tree oil, which were responsible for subsiding the pain.

6. For clearing nasal blockage:

Girls, if you suffer from nasal blockage then tea tree oil will help you in clearing it instantly. Just smell it and your stuffy nose will thank you. I did try this once when I had a huge nasal block and within few minutes, it did a good job of clearing my blockage.

I hope this post has helped you on how to use tea tree oil in different ways. Go grab a bottle and get flawless skin. Do you use tea tree oil? Then share with me how differently do you use the oil.
