Black shade makes every woman not only look slim but also gorgeous. Be it any age group a black outfit is definitely set to amp up your personality. I believe that black is a forever shade that will continue to dazzle woman of all ages. There is a classiness, style and of course ample of oomph factor that totally makes me gush for this shade. I am presently obsessed with the black shade that I became creative and wanted to share with my sunshines on how I rocked 5 different looks with one black top.
I hope my post helps you when you are running late or clueless what to wear with your black top. I have even shared the occasions where you can wear these 5 different look. Read further and get inspired.
1. The Boho Look:
Now I can’t tell you how much I adore skirts, especially when it is the trend of Boho look. You can fashion the simple black top with a long wrap around skirt and pump up your desi look. What I like the most about this look is that the black top complements the wrap around perfectly, and that it is the right pick for a casual look. If you have an ethnic skirt team it with a black tank top and don’t forget to wear ethnic jhumkas and high heels.
What I wore – Black top that i purchased during online sales, Timex watch – a gift for me from me :), Skirt – bought during Surajkund fair
Make Up – Lakme 9 to 5 CC Cream as base and then Lakme Compact
Accessories – A traditional sling bag – Gifted by someone , Earings and long chain from Janpath
2. The Beach Look:
This is probably the bubbliest look that anyone can slay. I had teamed my favorite cyan hot pants with a black top and was all set to hit the beach :). You too can take your favorite black top and team it with cool denim shorts and look fabulously fashionable. All you would need is eye catchy flip flops, and a hat to complete the beach look.

Make Up – Lakme 9 to 5 CC Cream as base and then Lakme Compact
3. The Traditional Look:
I gave a twist to my Boho look and brought a traditional touch to the outfit. I stole my sister’s orange dupatta and paired it with my chic black top and wrap around and instantly the boho look got a traditional touch. The orange dupatta bought a vibrant look and flawlessly complemented the entire ensemble. While my dress was too casual to wear to a function, but if you have a chic black top with embroidery work and a wrap around with zari work then you can definitely style up this ensemble for a morning puja, haldi function.

4. The Game of Jeans:
It is impossible not to style a black top with jeans. This is my favorite combination when I am rushing late to my casual meetings. I love my super comfy jeans which I had bought from local market, they are my go-to jeans when I am clueless when I am in my power girl mood. This outfit is perfect wear for college, brunch parties with your girls, evening movies, and shopping.

5. The Layer Look:
Be it any weather, I try to layer myself when I step into the hot sun. I don’t prefer heavy layering, but a light shrug can be a game on wear. Along with my black top and jeans combo, I fashioned it with a beige shrug and wore my favorite pair of heels. As it is the trend of bomber jackets, you can even wear a bomber jacket over the black top and for bottoms wear ripped jeans. If you aren’t in the mood for jeans you can style yourself with chinos, leggings or even the voguish treggings.
