Hey girls,
Have you girls tried the Sugar Cosmetics products? They are fabulous and come at a super amazing price. I have tried the eyeliner and I was quite impressed with the product which made me buy the famous twist and shout fade proof kajal. I love intense kajal that would just highlight the eyes, just like the way Kareena does with her eyes. I heard great reviews about this so I decided to give it a shot, read further and know if the kajal is worth buying or not.
Price: Rs 399
Product Description:
Let your eyes do the talking with this sensational eye pencil & kajal from SUGAR! Just twist the easy applicator and rim your eyes with its intense black formula and you’re good to take on the world. With a specially designed anti-slip grip gives you a super steady hold, its creamy consistency, and preservatives-free formula makes it suitable for the waterline as well as the lash line. This high-performance multi-use product combines the benefits of the kajal with those of a gel liner and does not fade or smear for more than 10 hours.
My Review:
The kajal comes in a thin box with vibrant designs, the packaging of the kajal looks like a long pen with cushion grip which I guess is for a sturdy grip while applying kajal. You need to rotate it from the top to take the product out. The good thing is that they have given surplus product- the kajal pencil is lonnggg.
The texture of the product is super creamy, just one swipe and you get impressive, thick layer of the kajal. It comes without any fragrance which is quite good about the brand. And as I had got Black Velvet (love the name) it stands true to its name, the product is intense black which is highly pigmented and stays for a long duration. It instantly highlights my eyes and gives a nice look to my eyes.
What I like about the product is that I can use it as an eyeliner as well as kajal and as it has a buttery texture I can even use it for my smokey eyes. But the one problem which I faced using the kajal was that it is very delicate, it broke when I was trying to apply it on my eyes and since then I have been gentle with it.
There are quite a brands that make my eyes teary, but this wonderful product didn’t create any trouble and stayed for 5 hours, which is actually quite good. The good thing about this kajal is that it doesn’t fade or smudge and stays intact. Thanks, Sugar Cosmetics.
Pros:
1. Buttery texture
2. Cushion grip that is perfect for beginners
3. Highly pigmented
4. Jet black shade that doesn’t smudge
4. Stays for long hours
5. Can be used as an eyeliner
6. Perfect for creating smokey eyes
Cons:
1. Very long
FABB Rating: 4.5/5
Conclusion:
I would definitely buy this product again only due to its intense black shade and super creamy texture. I would recommend this product to those who are looking for jet black shade, it might be pricey when compared to drugstore brands but the quality of the product is quite impressive. I might try the 02 Still Got Blues as it is an adorable shade.
