She created a magic on the red carpet of Cannes 2017, she made everyone stare at her and she definitely conquered the Cannes like a queen. We are talking about our favorite beauty queen Aishwarya Rai, who was nothing less than a fairytale at the Cannes 2017. Every time she came in front of shutterbugs, she brought in excitement, aww moment and made us all believe that fairytales do exist.
Right from the Day 1, Ash slayed the red carpet with her gorgeous couture and mind-blowing makeup look. She is known for her experimental look and this year she did show us how to rock a purple lipstick (yet again), how to wear bright orange lipstick and even how to go nude on makeup yet look bombastic. This is my breakdown of her makeup look, hope you like it and I would love to see you recreate these look!
1. Elegant nude makeup look:
Everyone called her Princess Elsa from Frozen and indeed she did look like a dream. Ash lets her dress do the talking and went basic with her entire makeup
On her eyes: there is a hint of beige shade on her eyelids and a thin line of eyeliner with loads of mascara and falsies. When you try this look, make sure to wear eye primer. For eye makeup you can opt for L’Oreal Paris Color Riche La Palette Nude 02 Beige and for eyeliner, try Maybelline Eye studio lasting drama gel eyeliner, For brows, you can try the Maybelline Brow Cream Pencil.
On her face: The Jazbaa actress went light on her makeup. She has used sheer coverage foundation with a light bronzer and sheer highlight on the high points.
On her lips: She has a hint of brown lipstick so you can try any nude lipstick such as Mac Cosmo, Lakme Brick Rose. Make sure to dab your lipstick with a tissue to get a natural look.
2. Bright orange lips:
Breaking the stereotype look of a bright eye with subtle lip shade, Ash showed the world how to rock an electric blue eyeliner with neon orange lipstick.
On her eyes: For eyes, she has given an electric blue touch which looks gorgeous and my recommendation would be Revlon ColorStay Skinny Liquid Eyeliner – ELECTRIC BLUE, L’Oreal Infallible Silkissime Eyeliner in Cobalt Blue.
On her face: She has used a bright foundation that instantly gives a glow and there is a hint of pink blush which complemented her skin tone and lipstick. Foundation- Revlon Photoready foundation.
On her lips: She wore a neon orange lipstick, which can be tricky to pick as it can wash your skin. However, I would suggest Neon Orange from MAC, L’oreal Color Riche Orange Power, Lakme Tangerine Rush
3. Fuschia lips:

She looked like a gorgeous diva with her on point makeup and stylish outfit.
On her eyes: Since her lips were bold, the eyes were pretty subtle with dark black eyeliner, mascara and soft shimmery gold on her eyelids.
On her face: She has worn sheer foundation that gives a natural look to her face and has a soft pink blush on her cheeks with a light highlight on her cheek bones, nose.
On lips: Her lipstick is a blend of red and pink shades and I would go for MAC Relentless Retro, Maybelline All Fired Up.
4. Purple magic:
Last year she was flaked for her choice of purple lipstick, but that didn’t stop the diva to experiment with her look. This year she came with a bang and nailed the purple lips look.
On her eyes: There is a dramatic touch of electric blue with shimmer yellow gold shade on her eyelids. Her brow game is strong like all time and you can opt for the similar products as mentioned above.
On her face: There is a touch of brightening and full coverage foundation with a good amount of concealer under the eyes. Also, there is a faint amount of blush with a good bronzer that adds a definition to her makeup. For foundation, I would recommend- L’oreal Mat Magique 12h Bright Mat foundation.
On her lips: She has a deeper shade of purple on her lips, which perfectly suits her skin tone and I guess this would be a huge hit in the beauty industry. My recommendation is Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid Vivid Violet, Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Shameless.
5. Red beauty:
This is one of my favorite look that is effortlessly beautiful and super easy to recreate.
On her eyes: She has a shimmery gold eye makeup with heavy mascara and falsies. Also, she has dolled up her eyes with black eyeliner and looks beautiful. For mascara any day I would suggest Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara, Blackest Black.
On her face: She has applied a sheer foundation that gives a natural look and there is a good hint of bronzer, highlight that adds a dramatic look to her face.
On her lips: I loved her lip shade, which is perfect for dinner dates, parties. My recommendations are Maybelline Superstay 14hr Lipstick – Wine and Forever, Revlon Super Lustrous Creme Lipstick in Black Cherry, Bobbi Brown Rich Lip Color In Crimson.
