Don’t we all have a special place for lipsticks in our heart? No matter how many lipsticks I own, I have noticed that I tend to shop for more and more. I just can’t do with lipsticks, I remember back in college days I would stick to my tinted Maybelline lip balm and maybe use few lipsticks, but ever since I have started blogging, I have become a lipstick addict. I am quite proud of my lipstick collection (who isn’t) and still dream of owning some high-end brands that are quite heavy on my wallet 😛
Nevertheless, I am quite happy with my collection and would one day do a post on my lipstick collection. However today I would like to share the fad topic of this season- moisturizing lipsticks. Yes, with the trend of matte lipsticks and being a fanatic for matte lipstick, it is quite easy to lose moisture content on the lips. And as the weather is changing it would be the perfect time to write a blog on my top 5 moisturizing lipsticks. Read more and find all about them.
1. L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte Lipstick:
L’Oreal is one of the cult brands that caters all the beauty needs of a woman. And if you are looking for a hydrating lipstick that will prevent chapped or cracked lips, then you ought to try the Color Riche moist matte lipstick. It is infused with jojoba oil, Vitamin E, omega 3 oils that will nourish your lips and make it satin soft. The lipstick has velvet matte finish and has a deep color pay off. It comes in vibrant and soft shades that would suit the Indian skin tone. The only con is its price!
2. Sephora Collection Luster Matte Long-Wear Lip Color:
My current favorite lipstick is the Sephora collection luster matte long wear lip color. I would review this lipstick soon! It has the goodness of rose hip seed oil that hydrates the lips easily. It is an ultra light matte lipstick that is super comfortable on the lips, doesn’t settle into fine lines and has high pigmentation. It comes in 12 shades and each shade is fabulous!
3. Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter:
Filled with mango, shea, and coconut butter, Revlon color burst lip butter is one of the perfect moisturizing lipstick perfect for the winter season. It has gel formula and gives a medium coverage with a slight shine, also it makes the lips super soft and smooth. This hydrating lipstick comes in 11 shades and is must have.
4. MAC Mineralise Rich Lipstick:
Next lust-worthy moisturizing lipstick is the MAC mineralise rich lipstick. It is an amazing product and perfects for dry and chapped lips. It has an ultra-light formula that glides on the lips like a dream and nourishes it completely. It is a perfect 9-5 lipstick that will keep your lips plump and beautiful.
5. Maybelline Color Sensational Bold Matte:
My list would be incomplete without adding Maybelline lipsticks. This lipstick has a super creamy and smooth texture which is easy to apply and will even keep your lips hydrated all day long. It is enriched with jojoba oil, which would protect the cracked or chapped lips and comes in 6 different shades.

Nice compilation, but I find faces go chic lipsticks incredibly moisturizing.
I love the MAC matte and satin finish lipsticks but they can be quite drying! I will definitely have to try one of the mineralise finishes.
